My little Boy is Growing up!

Jacob is getting so big and growing so fast, It kinda makes me sad but at the same time I love seeing him change and progress! He is so much fun!

This last weekend Mat and I put him in a Big Boy (Twin) bed! He loves it and sleeps so so good! I love his new bed mostly because the bedding was a steal ( I love a good deal) but also because of how much he loves it! Here are a few Pics!

All we need to do now is get the Bed Skirt (Found on Target.com for 6.00!!!) And some sheets!

Time for a Change

We decided to change up the house a little but this last week! For the last five years we have had almost every room in our house Red, Black, Brown and Cream. Needless to say we got a little tired of that!! We found a cute little company called Cozy Cottage Treasures She takes furniture and refinishes it and let me tell you she has some serious talent! I got a few new tables from her this week and had her refinish some nightstands for me too!

We have also been looking for a bed frame for our room but since we bought an Olympic Queen size bed that it 6" wider than a normal Queen we are having a hard time finding a frame we like. Mat had talked about the possibility of building one and we found this bed with complete instructions to build! We know it will take some time to complete but we are so excited!

 Once the bed is Built we are going to be getting a bedspread like this that is just white, And sewing pillows that Will give the room some color. We are so excited about the change! Its going to be really nice!

 We have also been needing a bigger table for our family. We are starting to grow out of the one we have especially when we have company over and only have one extra space. Mat and I found this table that we both really love, so along with the bed we will eventually be building a table! Mat is so handy and loves to build things, I love how excited he is to do some woodworking!

Long story short we are really excited about the changes to come along with getting Jacobs Big Boy room done (Tear) and the best part it we are having so much fun doing it all as a family! I remember as a kid being so excited for the day I would be able to do little projects with my own family! Its lots of fun!

Family Night at the Park

Jacob loves going to the park, its probably his favorite thing to do! A few nights ago we got to go the Salem pond for a picnic and some fun on the toys! Jacob even got to see the ducks but he wasn's sure what to think (I wish I had gotten a picture!). I love spending time with my family, I am so blessed to have them in my life!

Haircut...

Jacob is Growing so fast and his hair is keeping up with him.... I wish my hair would grow as fast as his does! I love cutting his hair and he is starting to do really well with it and screams a little less than he did when we first started! Here are a few pics of my handsome man!

Fingers Crossed...

Well here is our 3rd attempt at a blog, Our fingers are crossed and we are really hoping we wont have to start over again, So here is to a fresh start!

Our little family is doing really well! Life is great and we are loving every minute we get to spend together as a family! Mat and I are having so much fun watching Jacob grow and progress. He is such a sweet baby boy. We are having a hard time believing Jacob is turing 2 in June! Time has really flown by!

The list goes on and on...

He has started to learn how to ride a bike and he loves to run and play outside! He can go up and down the stairs with ease and he loves to go as fast and he possibly can. He has also turned into quite the little dare devil and he jumps off everything he can climb on!

November of 2011 Mat and I decided to move our little family to an area we felt might be safer to raise a family. We love our new neighborhood and ward. We are so happy we decided to make the move here. There are lots of young families and little kids for jacob to play with!

This last week we got to babysit my Cousins (Though I feel like they are my neices and nephews) while their parents went to Hawaii, We had tons of fun and they are such great kids! I loved being able to play with the kids and to the girls hair, play night games, and dodge ball! Jacob had so much fun having a frined to play with all the time!
